Does anyone know this program?

HI all,

A bit of a vague one here, but some time ago (about 18 months to 2 years), I had a very simple cad program but cannot remember the name of it and the computer it was installed on crashed so lost forever.

Very simple, for memory it had a black screen with gray buttons down the left side (how unusual!), but the thing I remember about it was the screen had the x and y axis in the bottom left, and a row of co-ordinates along the bottom. You could enter a co-ordinate for a line (eg: x10 y10 and length measurement). You could then draw the next line using the x and y position of the previous one and so on, Or you could draw the line on the screen, then using the co-ordinates, place and resize it as needed.

The line image was green (may have been changeable), and was drawn in a side profile (great for lathe work).

If I remember correctly it was even a free download but don't think it was from one of the major players (Alibre etc).

Don't know too much more about it, but I remember was very simple to use, then export the design in DXF, I don't think it created tool paths or anything that elaborate.

I would love to find this program again as it was very simple, quick and effective to use (only used it for lathe work so didn't find out if it had the full 3D thing happening).

Hoping someone can recognise some of my vague description and let me know the name and where possibly I can download it from again.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

COlin

Hi millerrocks06

Thanks for the reply (I'd almost forgotten about this question!).

Sounds interesting, do you have a link at all for the program?

Thanks.
