Paul, No response for over 30 days. You can delete this, I couldn't get it to delete. When I tried to report it to moderator, a message appeared saying page could not be found. Last edited by SRT; 06-30-2003 at 02:57 PM.

New to the group. I have been using this program since version 6 came out. Have put it up against some other top brand packages. It is great and easy to use. Does good 3d surfaceing.

I have used FeatueCam version 9 for 7 months and this week we have upgraded to version 10. Before this at a pervious job I used MasterCam for a two years. FeatureCam is easier, faster and better at picking up mistakes. Also FeatureCam has better support. MasterCam support was nonexistant, the salesman could not answer our questions to the 2.5 version we had he only told us to upgrade to the full blown version. After awhile of using MasterCam I found myself going back to manually writing programs using AutoCad.

LOL!!! Not too much action here. It must be because FeatureCam people are working not playing on the net. I’m new here, but glad I found this forum, it makes for some interesting reading. I have used FeatureCam since V3, we stopped upgrading at V7. I seldom do true 3 axis cutting and never 4 or 5. I cut costume one-off aircraft parts for a major airline. It is common to be handed a damaged part, the material specs, and some notes, and be expected to produce a finished part in a few hours. I seldom have the luxury of digital files to start with, so ease, speed, and accuracy of drawing is a big plus with FC. This is a wonderful tool and I would be lost without it. Gary

“ . “ LOL!!! I thought, finally someone else. I’m still using V7 at work, but I have been lobbying for an upgrade which hopefully will include a new PC. If I could justify the cost I would be using it at home. For 3D and 2 1/2D it will match or exceed its competitors. Of course that would be my opinionated opinion. I would love to hear from others, or try to answer any questions. Gary
