Hi, I have autoCAD 2000i. I would like to work out how to draw some stuff in 3d, not just 2d. I would like to be able to draw up a basic table frame that I can base my cnc machine on. So if I wanted to do that what would be the first step to do? What views etc do I have to turn on? Peter Australia |

| I use mostly SE and SW isometric views. Check out these tutorials. http://www.caddigest.com/subjects/Au...torials/3d.htm Look at the primitive solids and work your way up the list, booleans, extruded solids, slice, fillet and chamfer. These should get you started.
