I need to machine a simple stencil in AL plate. Then use it to spray paint a label on a number of items. I have access to Autocad 2005 and Mastercam X. So far, I downloaded a stencil font and installed it for use in programs like Word. I can't figure how to use this font in Autocad. Any ideas? Other routes? Karl |

| Not sure about X, but I know you can't machine fonts (as in created via drafting or something similar) in previous versions of MC without converting it. (Lakeside might be on to something with vectorizing, look into that first.) In v9, you could use Create/Next Menu/Letters and select the font you want. If the font isn't available, you will need to install it to the system (OS) first, then select it from the True Type button, instead of doing it in Autocad. HTH. :edit: looks like you figured it out, and I type slow.
