| What's your budget, and what kinds of parts do you want to make?

| The budget is really open to what will apply. I use Mach3 mill and turn for my controllers. I am doing a lot of bracketry and flanges for auto applications. I have an Industrial Hobbies cnc mill. I just got a demo of the Denford cam designer and i like it but I think there may be better deals out there. |

| I'm going to hear it for this but here it goes. Have to tried www.ncplot.com or www.bobcad.com ? Ncplot is a very nice backplot application that supports Fanuc type Macro B for Milling & Turning and (M98) Sub-Programs. BobCad-Cam is CAD/CAM for 3 Axis Millining and 2 Axis Turning. Both have free trial versions and excellent Tech Support.BTW: Welcome to cnczone. ![]() Your best option is to do Trials for all the Software Your interested in. It's really up to you on which one is best for you!!!!!

I have turboCad cam 12 pro. I have found it most diffcult to learn. But I am new to cad/cam. Imsi has offloaded the tech help to a company called cadcourse.com. Even they don't support the cam part. There is only one source of help with the cam. There is a help disk they will send you. $50. dxxx thanks |
