    Good old daze?

In the early 70's I started in machine shop work. I was big and strong so I ran big simple parts. Moved up in manual work till I was making heilical gears on a horizonal then in 1984 I was given chance at cnc. Anilam Crusader series-M as I remember anyway I was at a sale other day and saw a mill exactly like one I started on..
Somthing from the 60's numbed my mind and after a breif flashback it is now setting in the corner of my shop.
Anyway It is in perfect condition for it's age ( it held up better than I did).
I can remember about everything except tool comp. It does not have tool file. I remember I had to list all tools at start of prpgram, and tool lengh you have to set full quill retraction then tool lengtht but I just cannot bring up from the fog of Christmas past exactly how define tool diameter and activate 41 & 42.
Anyone out there remember the good old day's better than I ?

I think on event line use 10 to call into effect dia offset, then tool number. So to use tool 2 event line would read 1002. Then use X softkey to enter cutter Dia. Now on the next line use G41 or G42.
It must have x or y move at least 1/2 cutter dia to comp on.
Hope this is correct and that it helps.
