    Design Cad/Cam

Has anybody had any experience using Design Cad 3D and its counterpart Cam? It looks very inexpensive, I know what this usually means but not in all cases. Let me know.

I checked the website you posted and it looks pretty good. Did you checkout the free trials? I really have no knowledge of this software. Until someone posts experience maybe you should try it out and form your own opinion. What type of work will you be doing really decides what software you will need.

Good Luck on your search and remember to plan for a little extra capability for the future because you never know when you may need that extra ability.

DesignCAD has always been an excellent CAD package, especially for the price. I started using it over 10 years ago. Contour CAM is apparently a brand new product. First time I've seen it.

Im not sure how well it works. But the Contour Cam looks like a pretty interesting package for the price.
