Hi, I was wondering what the best program, or a good program, cheap, is to convert text into dxf so that Sheetcam can take it in. Autocad can do this, but if you use any other font, it doesn't work, and Autocad's formatting, sizing isn't the best for this. Just wondering what you use and what is good to use for this. Something that is cheap or free for the Hobbyist. Thank you. |

| It has been MANY years since I have used ACad. I believe you can explode the text to turn it into line segments. It won't take long to try anyway.
