DXF -> Gcode (lathe)

I'm trying to find a DXF convertor (to Gcode), but I'd like the output to be used for a lathe. Any idea?

Hi There,

You can do this for FREE using gmax and CNC_Toolkit.

as it's based on autocad development gmax imports 2D and 3D .DXF files without difficulty.

The .DXF can then be projected onto or otherwise deformed to correspond with a round or spherical surface. CNC_Toolkit can then process the .DXF to gcode.

There's a FREE ebook available on the tutorial page at http://cnc4free.org explaining these methods.

Try dolphin cad cam. Ive been using the mill package for a while and just recently bought the lathe myself. Its pretty nifty.
