Has anybody ever used the RS 232 interface of a Sodick A320D? What type of DNC software are you using? Last edited by Mouldmaker; 10-20-2003 at 06:40 AM.  |

| I ran that same machine, but never used the RS232 port..just used a disk. Are you able to get the Automatic wirefeed to work??..we never did,lol..POS..

| We used the disk up to last week but this has now stopped and its not a standard item. Thats why I'm trying to connect the 232 port until we get the foppy drive, if its not that expensive (which I doubt). The wire threading never used to work until we switched over to Zinc coated brass wire (cobra cut). It now works maybe one out of five times. |
