Can someone tell me more about Part Maker (the latest version 6.0)? I know it is best used for Swiss programming but, is not the best choice. Also, I know they can program Mills, Lathes and Wire Machines and have added Parasolids in the last year. I am looking for price and software useability. Thanks ahead of time to all. |

| I have an older milling version. I have not upgraded for 2 reasons. One is I just don't do that much progamming and secondly my new machine is really powerful in its conversational programming I don't have much need for off-line CAM. Since I am cheap and my requirements are minimal I don't have much experience with the big CAD/CAM guys. Mostly I use BobCad for CAD work and program at the machine. What I'm leading up to is I was really impressed with Partmaker support. Their support guys have always been nothing but apologies if they had to get back to me. Usually I could get a tech guy immediately but sometimes I had to wait 10 minutes or so until they called me back! What's that worth to you? |
