Could anyone out there tell me if EZ CAM Express ramps and or helix's into pockets or, does it only have the ability to plunge? It does everything else that I am interested in but, I dont know if it has this one important capability..... Patrick |

| Yes, Both ramping straight or zigzag and helical plunging can be done! It can also be confirmed in graghical side! Nice program! No I don't work for them, just been using EZcam since mid eighties! Works well for what we do and better than having to write all code by hand! Thats what the other guy programing had to do before we merged the two companies! You won't be disapointed! Larry |

| Larry, It use to be in EZCAM that you could only have one feed and speed per segment. Has this long standing problem been fixed in EZCAM ? I'm not talking about writing some sort of limit logic into the post but rather this issue being addressed in EZCAM where you can choose to insert different feeds and speeds on one segment. jon "I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them." ... Most CADCAM programs now are able to do this this. Not having this has always been a limitation in EZCAM that I take it still exists. jon "I may have many faults, but being wrong ain't one of them." ... Jimmy Hoffa |

| Just make the thin wall area it's own segment! Might even be a finish pass. Or just add code in that line, Editing! I just couldn't see that as a major drawback as that would have too be custom programing anyway! As we all know not one cad cam does it all) NO MATTER what they say! Even EZ cam There are pro's and con's too them ALL! Just depends on what you were raised on! They all improve and change with the times, it's a matter of keeping up with them! It's Just $$$$$$$$$$$$$ anyway! |
