    iam having problems on running tool paths on trimmed nurb r surface i will attach part to see what you think

    Do U Have The Surfcam File That You
    Have Already Tried To Run Toolpaths On
    I Would Like To See Exactly Which Surfaces You Are Wanting To Machine
    The Entire Part Or What
    Or Is The Software Just Giving You Errors
    Explain A Lil More

    it seems like when i pick the surfaces to run the tool on it recognizes it but when you put in tool info it doesnt do anything the surfaces are in yellow running surfcam 2005 no errors are being given either

    Are U Using Planar Machining Path To Try Those In Yellow
    Or What I Would Suggest A Tapered End Mill With That Radius On It
    To Machine That
    Let Me Show You How I Would Machine It

    here is the roughing pass i would use on this part
    but for finishing those walls i probably would get some tapered endmills to get the small radius in the corners along with the angle on the walls

    umm
    do what seat of surfcam do u have
    i have a 3-axis plus seat
    and yes it should be in 2005
    you can also use Z level roughing
    will work the same
    but with only one tool where are SRM will can use multiple tools
