    NOT smooth running TNC155B

    Hi to you all,

    I have a Interact with TNC155B control.
I make CAM with Depocam. The problem is that the controle will not run contiguously when Depo is outputting very short steps (0.1mm). If the steps are bigger (2 till 5mm) the machine will run smooth through the steps.
The short steps will be machined, the machine stops, makes the next step and stops again. This appears mostly when ramping actions.
Adding the M90 command is not giving approved results!!
Can anybody help me with this?
It should be OR a M-function, OR a parameter setting!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

Most likely the problem is number of lines per seconds executed based on feed rate programmed. You are overloading the CPU. Using slower feed rate should also help.

    Hi txcncman,

I am trying to reduce feedrate, but this seem to me that it is not helping.
I go done from 1000mm/min to 150mm/min and I still have the stopping on very short lines!!
What parameters are involved to improve this kind of behavure?
Or is there a better M-function available?

    Thanks in advance
