dxf drawing with drill patten (howto) ?

    dear friends,

I want to convert a cad drawing to a drill pattern. meaning I want my cnc not to use cutter to process shapes but instead, I want it to create this shape with drill, lets say by drilling in every 4 milimeters. but as long as every line and curve in dxf file need to be segmented to dots in every 4 mm, I must use an application for it. imagine that as "creating shape with dots" problem.

which application have that kind of capability

You could also use software for punch press/turret punch.
