    Gerber RS724X to Gcode Converter???

I am looking for a software that can convert Gerber RS247X circuit board photo plotting format to CNC Gcode.

I have tried the internet and I found some suggestions, but the process is a pain. I would like to run one program to do just the conversion.

    Anybody?

There are a couple of commercial products that do just that for you. You can try the limited version for free. Kellycam and deskcnc are capable of doing the conversion to create g code for pcb fabrication.

    Give a try. JOe.

Thanks for the info. on the DeskCNC. I've tried it and it worked.

I am designing my boards in Protel and created the Gerber files. In DeskCNC demo, I am able to import the Gerber files and have DeskCNC isolate the circuit traces, then generate the G-code.

Finally in Mach1, load the G-code file and mill the copper clad board which I will do next after I finish building my router.

    Hi all!
Is there any program open source that can do that (gerber to gcode)?
I mean, something written i C++ that i can read and compile by myself.
    Thank you very much
