anyone know of a reasonably priced (ok, cheap) verification software? i need it to recognize Okuma lathe code, work with sub-programs & "P" (sync) codes.

This works well. Not sure on the pcdes. Try it.

Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.

For lathe and then Okuma and sync turret. Inplot which will plot your lathe tool,
your nc code against your imported .dxf file is the way to go.
    i-Logic Software
I use Ncplot for some of my mill programs which works very good also.
