Hi

If anyone could help solving this issue, I think it would definitely make my day, as I spent most of it trying to figure it out ...

Here is the scenario; I make my 3D part in Rhino 3D, export the object (as an STL file) and import it into FreeMill. So far so good I can set my parameters, tools, etc and get to the post-process. Didn't get it right the first time but after about 50 attemps (basically tried all the postprocessors they offer!) I managed to spit out a file that EMC2 can read. I can actually get it to read some Fanuc and Gerber files.

Following so far? RHINO > FreeMill > Fanuc or Gerber > EMC2.

While I can actually SEE my model in EMC2, as soon as I hit the "PLAY" (or start) button, nothing happens, or even worse, if I click stop the software seems to slow down almost to a halt and I have to restart it in order to get things moving again.

From EMC2 I can open the sample models and they work perfectly; can run the CNC with no issue at all ...

I think that what I'm doing wrong is the post-processing as my files look somewhat different from the ones that came with EMC2. I'm totally OK with swapping FreeMill with something else if required (as long as it runs on windows) but changing EMC2 for something else is not an option unfortunately.

Any clue on what post-processor should be used? Or what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.
