i used a chuck cad model in the model of a lathe i put in 3dcontentcentral. others are making rough cad models of their shop equipment. usually it is only for making a CNC setup and order of operating sheet. so cad models are rarely exact models especially of internal components. no manufacturer wants to give a away so much detail that another company can duplicate it's parts. rough cad models are suppose to help create business not lose it
