Advice on software that suits needs.

    Hi
I've recently purchased a CNC router, with the intention of cutting out basic 2d shapes from 18mm MDF.

I am looking at cutting my material(mdf) to the finished size on dimension saw and then using the cnc router...remove one corner with a radius.

so I'm looking for some guidance as to software that might best suit my needs.

my machine came with ucancam (yes a cheap Chinese router, newbie) and i can do everything i need to do within this program. the only problem i'm having with this program is that if i enter the material size as 800mm x 800mm and place an toolpath in the upper top right of the material, the router for some reason always starts at x0y0 .
the g code doesn't seem to contain the start-point.. if you get what i mean.

    anyway, thanks for your time
    mick.
