I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to draw threads in solidworks that would fit into a male and female piece. I can't seem to make threads that match up... Could someone please help me out with this problem. I am creating an autoclave for inorganic chemistry experiemnts. the outside of the threads is at 1.75 in and i would like the inside to be 1.7. I could send someone my drawings to show them of if someone could send me a sample of how they did it i would much appciate it. I did it by creating a helix and then drawing a triangle and using the cut sweep tool... Could someone please give me some better pointers! Thanks so much! |
