i need a program that converts an image in to gcode

preferrably bmp or dxf to go code.

i found multicam ez gcode but no one at the place seems to know anything

i found bmp2cnc but you cant seem to register or anything to get out of demo mode.

    MeshCAM works fine.

and a .dxf file is not an image file.

i downloaded microcarve and it seems to work well. but the problem i am having is that it only creates a *.tap file. i am using an ncstudio program for my router so i need a nc file or .g or .plt.

    does anyone have any ideas?

If it produces a .tap file, it is a plain text file and usually .nc files are also plain text. So simply rename it to *.nc.
I am not familiar with the program, but most will allow you to change the file extension of the g-codes files.

if you want to save it as an nc file then once you've created the toolpath , click save and at the top of the left menu change file extension from .tap extension to .nc
