| Hey everyone. I was talking to a co-worker of mine that has taken a class on the programming software that we use. He said they showed him some formula's on how to figure the proper feed rate and spindle speeds, etc. But he said he couldn't remember them. I was wondering if anyone has any kind of formulas like that? Thanks-Robbie |

| I found the formula's I was looking for. It is all determaned by chipload. The formulas are: Chip Load= Feed Rate/ (RPM x # of cutting edges) Feed Rate=RPM x # of cutting edges x chip load Speed (RPM)=Feed Rate/(# of cutting edges x chip load) |
