What software do I need

I am trying to route some items that have a few contours, pockets, etc in them and need an idea of what software to use.

I am currently using TurboCad for my Cad work, and Ace for to generate the code. This works great for 2 d stuff, but am unable to do contours and 3 d items. i am assuming it is the CAM software as I can do 3D in TurboCad.

Am I just not using ACE correctly or do I need a different software, and if so, is there a free or very cheap one available? Easy to learn would be a big plus.

I won't mention the unreliable ones....

MeshCAM ~ currently free or DelCAM MillWizard $250. Nothing is easier to use than MW & it uses the same CAM engine as ArtCAM Pro. This is the 1st 3D CAM program that I bought and I had it installed and I was cutting my parts in about 20 minutes It doesn't get any easier...

MeshCAM is NOT currently free. But it's cheaper than Millwizard and has more control I believe. http://www.grzsoftware.com
