How do you scale down a .dfx?

Hello, I'm trying to scale down a dfx 2d drawing and I can't figure it out. , So I thought I would bring it to the pros....You guys.

I have Autocad 2000 but when I try to scale it, It just wants to make it bigger. In some cases that might be good. But...Anyway I would be greatful if someone could help me with this. I know I can scale it down in Cambam but I cant save it as a dfx file. I need to be able to scale down the 2d and save it to a dfx.

    Thanks Much

    Kasari

In AutoCAD, type scale, and it'll ask you to choose a basepoint. Where you click can affect which direction it scales towards.

After you choose the basepoint, just type in the amount you want to scale it and hit enter.
.5 will make it half size.
.25 will make it 1/4 size.
