| Now Im wondering about my machine setup?? I am using 1/2-20 threaded rod and am microstepping at 1/8. My stepper are 400 or .09 deg. maybe I dont have that setup right?

| If I were to cut that with a 1/2" tool, in the direction you're going I'd need a G42 in the beginning, otherwise I'd get a 1" square.

| Ya i can see that if you are using a 1/2 tool but I am only using a 1/6 or .0625 end mill but. something is not setup right.

| I'm at a loss...I've had that sort of thing happen, but it was simply due to offsets being entered wrong.

| I figured it out!!! I had my axes setup with the wrong numer. it was set up for a 200 stepper motor not a 400. was set for 0.00003125 changed it to 0.00001562 I am NOW getting a 2 inch square!
