    Post CAM Time

    Hi All,

What is the unit expression of Estimated Machining Time in any CAM Software.

    Is it Hours:Minutes

( If the time required is 3 hour 30 minutes, it would be expressed as 3.30 )

    or Else

    Hours:Hours.

( If the time required is 3 hours 30 minutes, the time would be expressed as 3.5 )

    Thanks

    Ash

Interesting question! I'd like to know too.

What I do on drawings is, if it's hour and minutes then I separate them with a colon (eg 2h:30), if it's decimal then I separate with a full stop (eg 2.5hrs), but I dunno if that's right
I love deadlines- I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.
