I'm planning to upgrade the CPU and operating system for my plasma table in the not too distant future. Time to let go of Windows 2000 pro and get at least XP on this system. I'm also considering new Cad/Cam software. I've had Cad/Cam software from the world leader for 5 years now and I'm wanting something that will do simple 2D cad/cam without any extra trinkets that I can understand. (I'm not an IT guy and can't afford one). What do you like that will do this?  |

| Sheetcam works well for 2.5D stuff like plasma table work. It has the post processors required for plasma tables with or without Z axiz or THC. I would recommend it, although you need to feed it a .dxf file that you would create in your choice of CAD program, such as AutoCAD. |
