    scan to cad software preference?

    Want to scan or download a picture/drawing and take it into cad to trace then cambam/mach. Any suggestions or is there a smarter way to accomplish this? Thanks.

    You'll need a Raster to Vector program. Search Google for a free one. These will create a DXF file that you can use in a CAM program. Results will vary with complexity of the shape.
