    Electronic cadware?

This may not be the best place to ask this question, but unable to locate a better suited forum. Admin, please feel free to move this question, if there is a better forum.

Finally ready to start reassembly of a Bridgeport CNC machine after removing all the old BOSS 5 computer junk. Now there are a ton of wires waiting to be hooked up, and we've spent a lot of time just figuring out where all the wires go, and how they function, and adding wire numbers to all the pigtails.

Really want to document the electrical portion of the conversion, to make future troubleshooting easier.

Is there a freeware or shareware or inexpensive drawing program for generating schematics?

    Thanks

    Tom
