sef 90 controller

Hi. I'm looking for help with a Sandretti plastic injection machine. It has a Selec SEF 90 cnc controller with floppy access. I'm trying to copy the data disks with the idea to replace the floppys with a usb emulator drive but can't get any of my computers to read the disks (No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk) although the disks are fine on the injection machines. Any help with copying these disks would be greatly appreciated. On the same theme. Does anyone know if it would be possible to link directly through hyperterminal to load the data. The machines have what look to be either com or lpt1 ports on the back of the controller casing. One of each male/female 25 pin. I have all of the machine booklets but no tech info on the SEF 90 controllers. Cheers.
