double click text edit

I have tried everything I know but can't get my double click text edit to work anymore. The properties box pops up instead

From all the threads you are starting it looks like something is slowly mucking up windows.
It all started with the out of memory problem.
One of your programs has a memory leak. (doesn't free memory it allocated)

Reboot the computer, and make sure it is working properly, then go through and see if you can get past the out of memory problem.
