How would you tool path this...

I have a Techno Isel 4896 Servo Router.

I rely almost exclusively on Vectric's Aspire program for my G-Code generation.

I have an opportunity to process a lot of panels that need a bull nose profile.

How would you tool path the profile, so that the z-level is accurate and the depth of cut does not hog too deep into the panels profile, after touching off?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Use a 2D profile on a path that is the correct distance from the edge of the panel to get the desired bullnose?

    Cheers,

If the panels are all the same, make a dedicated vacuum fixture the full size of the panel, to support it. If not supported near the edge, you're depth will vary.
