Looking for some feedback

Hello,

I am looking for some feedback on whether or not there is a market for my business idea. I am looking to start a business that provides manufacturers and entrepreneurs with a resource that can produce 2D drawings, 3D models, fixture design, product development, photo realistic renders and so on. Eventually I would like to be able to expand to be able to provide prototyping services as well. I Want to provide this service so that smaller shops and entrepreneurs do not need to have a dedicated employee or software for the stated tasks. I know there are businesses out there that provide services like this but I do not know how often companies utilize them.


I am also interested in knowing

What would you pay for this service?

Are there any other services that may make this a more viable alternative to the target groups?

First off, I must assume you are an engineer. What kind are you? Mech?

There are some companies that would probably be interested in this type of service. My guess is word of mouth is your friend...and pounding pavement.


You can probably get some work from small time shops doing their own products but be prepared to not get paid in a prompt manner (if at all)...ask me how I know...

I assume you own a seat of software that you can approach customers with..? Of course, it most likely will need to mesh with what they have or they may not want to pay for modelling etc.
