CNC router - what to look for

Hi, I recently bought Laser cutting machine from JQ Laser, China and has successfully installed and running.

Now I intend to buy CNC router. I am pretty new to this machine and need to understand the specification, functionalities, performance, etc..

I am in manufacturing of wooden toys and also wooden scientific teaching aids. I see the usage of CNC router in for many of my products which i currently using conventional machines in cutting and finishing.

Can somebody guide me what are the factors to look at in selecting the machine and the supplier of CNC router.

I'm not an expert, however, I think, precision and stability is the key issues.
There are some parts that would affect precision and stability.
1, spindle. This is a key part. High quality spindle will offer wide range of applications, as well as high working precision.
2, stable lathe. I think steel lathe is much better. It's heavier, but offers stalbe working condition.
3, It's better to have the bridge processed by CNC machinig center. Because, CNC machining center create a higher precision for the parts used in cnc router.
    4. Screw and rack and pinion. They are different. Screw offers better precision. Rack and pinion offers faster working speed. That's why many factories combine them together to meet the requirments for both accuracy and speed. If you need only accuracy, X.Y.Z by screw will be ok. Speed will be slow. If you need speed and precision at the same time, often, X. Y by rack and pinion, Z by screw.

The above mentioned is just for your reference.

I have a Opinion for you
1.Spindle: high speed water cooling spindle,it's cheap and useful. if you just engrave ,3KW is OK,if you want to cut wood,4.5KW is OK
