    Techno machine

    Hi
I have techno 4x4 table that I put in storage a few years ago when I upgraded to a 4x8. It has a mac100 controller that might have had a card acting up, I don't really remember. Any way I was going to see about converting it to a laser but now I am just thinking about selling it. Is it worth anything and how much do you think?

    Nothing from Nothing.....

    sunrise1@ktis.n,

It's not worth anything! If you want I can transport it (if you are nearby) to the recycler for you! I wouldn't even charge you.

Sorry, not really sure of the value, but I'm sure a "Zoner" near you would purchase it in a heartbeat. If you are near me, I could be interested.

BTW: Where are you located? Near Burlington, Vermont by any chance?

    Randy,
    I may not be good....
    But I am S L O W!!

    Randy,

I am in Fulton, Missouri, if it wasn't snowing so hard I would just run it over to you. Ha I am sure someone would be interested, I just wanted to know what it was worth. I migh just disassemble it and store it till I get time to work on it.

Hey I'm about 5 hours north of you up by ames IA. Whats your bottom dollar? I'd be interested in it as something to make a plasma table out of.

I'd be interested in it. How much do you want for it. Or would you be interested in trading it for a fine custom pool cue?

Actually I posted in this particular forum is the title had "pricing" in it. I don't realy know how much I want for it or how much it is worth. What I was wanting to know is how much I could get for it to see if I really wanted to sell it. So I guess make me an offer.

$400 on the assumption that the controller is shot. All I can do right now.

You could get at least a couple of grand for it. Whoever buys it would have to replace the controller and steppers anyways. The old techno controllers are dos based and the real old ones I don't think use standard g-code. That would only cost about $500-600. The technos were all well built with quality linear bearings, ballscrews, and worth every penny just in the build quality alone.

You have a real nice machine there.

Have you decided whether you're going to sell it or not? I've made 3 attempts to negotiate with you but no answers.

Thanks for the replies, sorry for MY slow response. I have been away from my computer for a couple of days. I am still leaning toward selling.

Cuesmith, I will have to see what shipping involves. where are you located?
