I want to cut a pinewood derby car on a CNC mill. What feeds/speeds would you recommend for a .25 ball nose endmill? Similar Threads:

It totally depends on the quality of your mill. I'm curious what CAM software are you using?

Nice machine. Do you cut wood in it very often? I'd say you could cut as fast as you want. 100 in/min should be easy. 1/4 inch bits can cut pretty fast, and the wood chips will fly.
