Nice job.

Well I thought I would throw up some pics of my cart I made for my cheap $75 tablesaw ,$99 chopsaw, and $99 router table. The cart ran me about $60 to build with most of the wood being free(dumpster diver). Got the idea from Finewoodworking website. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1174406143
Cart leftside.JPG
The table folds up and down so its outta the way. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1174406143

Cart locking system.JPG
This is the spring loaded locking system and it really works good ,holds the cart steady like a rock.

Cart unfinFront.JPG
This the unfinished front. I,ll be making drawers this weekend. There will be about4 drawers under the chopsaw and then one under the tablesaw and router to catch sawdust. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1174406143
Crosssled tenonpanel jig.JPG
This is the cross sled that I built from plans that were in Fine woodworking magazine. I then built the tenon and raised panel jig which is the thing that sitting in the sled. Just add clamps and its good to go. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1174406143
Crosssled extension.JPG
This is the extension that I had to add due to the fact that in the magazine the dimesions they gave were for a larger tablesaw. So if you build one of these for your saw you,ll probably have to add longer runners. Well I thought you guys might like to see some ideas on how to expand your existing equiptment without breaking the wallet. I,m making another cart for my bandsaw ,drill and grinder. Started to pump it out last weekend but then I thought about it and realized that I,ll soon be adding a jointer and planer. So I,m in the design process now of working all of these tools into the next cart( I only have room in my shop for two of these size carts).

Very nice wood working center.
Very nice. How did you get the cross-sled to slide accurately in the crappy mitre slots on the table saw? The ones on my table saw are not standard slots and yours looks the same.
Thanx guys, dt the miter slots were the hardest part, I took some real hard oak strips cut and sanded to fit the slot, took dbl sided tape and positioned the sled over the slots where the taped strips were and placed the sled down lifted it back up and then sketched around the strips, removed the dbl sided tape and glued and tacked down the strips. Still had to sand them to get it right. I also didn,t take in account that the measurements for the crosscut sled were actually for a bigger tablesaw so I had to add extensions to the runners. I also(no pic) added some plexi bent to act as a deflector for the chips when you push the sled through the blade.
Here,s a sketch up drawing I did first http://www.cnczone.com/forums/attach...1&d=1176108218
Rolling cart.jpg
Ya know I did tons of careful measuring and I still ended up shimming up the tablesaw part. Also if ya noticed that funny looking contraption on the front is actually the locking mechanism that to my surprise worked better than i thought it would, really holds the cart solid. I also just won an jointer on ebay that I,ll be building the second cart around that, I,ll post some pics of the build as I do it, hopefully give ya some ideas to try out.
That's a nice drawing. What kind of software did you use? Is it a modeling program or drawing program?
Google Sketchup.
