    Default new to cnc

    Hi all,
I found this board while looking for laser engravers and figured that they are way out of what i could afford.
Cnc routing i figured could be used for other things i make.

I do a lot of wood working, i am so confused about all the set ups.

Could someone point me to a plan that can be use to cut repetitive patterns out of 3/4 thick hardwoods?

The size is about 6 inch square,
i would like it to be able to cut multiple patterns before i would have to put another board down.

Right know i use the maximum of a 12' w x different lengths board.
so if you could point me to a pattern where i will be able to research more on it, it would really be appreciated.

I will continue to read and see f i can figure it out.

    Thanks

Not sure how detailed of an explanation your looking for here. It's as simple as drawing you're part in a CAD program, and copying and pasting it as many times as will fit on your board (and that your machine can reach). Then Use a CAM program to convert the drawing to g-code. Load the g-code and run your parts. There are some videos in this thread that show someone doing basically what your asking for.
