    Default CPOUT File format

Does anyone have an example CPOUT file they could send me? Or someplace where I can find the full spec? Can the CPOUT format support the grooving option that my panel saw has?

The only reference I could find to the spec for the cpout file format is at CPOUT . Which I haven't found to be very helpful without a working example to reference.

I have a Selco Panel Saw running their OSI interface, and I have written a small program that exports a specialized cut list to the xml format that OSI can read into it's optimizer function. However it isn't the best work flow and I would like to just output the cutting programs directly and remove a layer of indirection. My attempts to write the native OSI xml format has failed because I can't decode the value of an attribute called Chk. Without this the programs import into OSI but cannot be run. OSI supports importing CPOUT files and I had assumed they would be better documented as they seem to be the standard interchange format for cnc panel saws. However I have been unable to find much information about the format.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, it's been about 8 years since I've worked with a beam saw and used CPOUT files.

I'm not sure if they can contain grooving info. We used to use Cut Planner, which didn't support grooving.
