Default Machine Stalling/missing steps during rapids

I have a zenbot 2448 machine that has to motors on the y axis. (One runs slave). I have been stalling out when the machine is moving from one point to the other. It almost jams and then misses steps and ends up at the wrong location for the next job. I looked at the motor settings and noticed that the velocity for the y axis was at 499 while the other axis were at 199. Could this be causing unequal movements during rapids therefore causing the jam?

    thanks

you can try and lubricate and change the y axix to 150 instead of 199. While this will make the y travel slower it will also give it a bit more torque. this will work unless something is jammed or going out.
