I just finished building my 1.2x1.5m router. I did a 2D test cut on hard european plywood and was quite impressed by the amount of material I can remove at once.
Bit diameter: 4mm
Spindle: Kress 1050-1 (1.4HP)
Max Cut Depth: 13.5mm @20000RPM and 2100mm/min
1. Do these values seem reasonable to you?
2.What settings do you use?
3. Should I use a larger cutter for larger parts?
4, How do I know weather I am cutting to deep? I could have kept going...
