Hello, I am attempting to EDM a 4 axis part on my Brother HS-50a; both the ID is tapered as well as the outside of the part. Basically, it is an inverted pyramid with the top cut off flat. The opening in the center at the bottom measures 0.064" x 0.252"; the walls are 0.040" thick, and the part is 1.104" tall. I have been able to cut the inside of the part; although the code gave me some grief; I had to put each axis move on a seperate line (I couldn't get it to work properly) Anyway, I attempted to use the same method on the outside as I did on the inside; I am getting a alarm 8113: wire tilt angle over. When it approaches this corner, it is a compound angle, but I can manually jog both axis to a more severe angle without issue. I am at a loss, any help would be appreciated.
