My name is Ian ORRELL and am a retired Mechanical Engineering Associate/Technical Teacher and a Vietnam Veteran. My interests are many. Since I retired in 2002, I don't know how I ever found time to go to work. Has anyone found days with 48 hours?
I've knocked on Heaven's Door a few times and life is too short.
At the moment I am researching some information to build a 10 - 12.5kW Induction Furnace. I have much of the electronics for the Rectifier Side and some of the electronics for the Controller Side. Has any one built a system like this ? Thankyou
I was thinking of designing every thing on 30 kW and only running the system at 12.5 - 15 kW.
I also have drawings of a 75kW Commercial System [Computer Controlled] and a Ex RAN Electrical Engineer as a mentor.
