hi I just roughed my first 3d design on my with a 6mm end bit cnc 3040 t using artcam and mach3 how do I set the starting point for finishing cut using a 3mm ball nose ? its 200mm w 130mm high 17mm deep got 2 mill left to finish

Use the same starting point you used for the roughing pass. It should correspond to the origin point of your CAD model.

thank I tried that but it was out of line is this because of the difference between the 6mm bit and the 3 mm bit maybe I should use the same sizes for both cuts ?
