Air Conditioning & Heating Tect, and owner
I purchased a cnc machine from sears and from cartwright, which are both the same. They both we poor quality but they were my first ones to try out and now I am thinking on purchasing a new on but really had no idea if I could figure out how to work them or what brand is a fairly good one. I really don't want to purchase another one like I have had. I do Air Conditioning and Heating work and have for 37 years. I own the company or well maybe it owns me, I really haven't figured that out yet.

Hi....it would be a giant leap forward if we knew what you want to use a CNC (whatever)....lathe? mill?....router?...for....they do come in all shapes and sizes and cost is just the starting point..
It would also be cool if we had a budget and a size for the location area.......benchtop....floor on a stand etc etc.
A ball park figure?.....you won't get anything under a 10K outlay that resembles a CNC machine, even in name only......pay peanuts....get monkeys.
To be more in the picture, a pic or sketch of a typical part you want to make and the yearly volume as a ROI is a factor that will affect your buying strategy.
