Is the tool size size correct in the CAM program?
I run a Standard 3 axis 5' x 12' CR ONSRUD CNC machine. Using both Alphacam R16 v 2 and Cabinet vision.
Cutting countertops and they were cut small using a half inch DC, by a half inch in both the X and Y. I tried a test piece and it did the same thing. I shifted my 0,0.
I have checked my table and the CNC itself is fine. I moved it without a program from x0-x50 and it was spot on, the same as in the y. Any helps on where i have alterted the program?

It is. Ive brought up an old program and ran it without touching any of the configurations and it worked fine.
That is what I was suggesting. From what you describe it would seem that the tool size is not entered into the new program. Using a 1/2 inch diameter tool that is set to 0 diameter in the new part program would give you a part that was 1/2 inch small in both axes. Sounds like your machine is doing exactly what it's being told to do.
Enter the tool size into the offset in your settings. Using G42 or G41 will make programing much easier I have found. If you grt confused on G42 or G41 just imagine you are walking behind the cutter. If the cutter or tool is on the right side of the path drawn then it will be G42. If you want the tool on the left side of the tool path then it's G41. Be sure to cancel the tool comp using G40 once part is cleared.
