    Default Newbie questions - Aspire + Fusion 360

    Hi everybody here is the problem I am having Im trying to cut HDPE for the first time I id my design on Fusion 360 then exported it to Aspire to do my toolpaths. But when I run the preview it shows me that im cutting the edges. Ive attached a link to video for better explanation.

    My Setup:
    Shark Black Diamond Router
    Fusion 360
    Aspire 4.5

    Why not use the fusion cam it is better than vectrics.

    A file to look at would be better than a vid

    Edit:

    Simply do a profile path machine job, set either inside, on, or outside along the vectors, which would be vastly more efficient than doing it a as a 3D finish machining.

    If your part consists of all 2D machining, you don't want to bring a 3D model into Aspire. In Aspire, you only need to draw three rectangles and use a pocket toolpath.
    If you want to create toolpaths for 3D models, then do it all in Fusion 360.
