LASER TUBE CRACKING WHEN TEST BUTTON IS PUSHED

I have a 40W laser tube, purchased it on March 9, today the engraving just stopped but the purple lights would move. We put it in our new machine thinking it might be our old machine doing it. It still does. Help!!
