Default ** URGENT ** AUTOCAD ISSUE PLEASE ASSIST .....

This is probably a very amateurish question but .... I have drawn an X,Y,Z design in 3D format, program used is Autocad 2017 program and saved it as a .DXF file. When I try to load into MESHCAM it says that there are no polygons. How can I fix this problem??? Perhaps I have an error in my .DXF drawing, I have attached the file just in case.. Please we need urgent help... Thank you

......( have not open your file )

DXF is usually a 2D (or a 3D ) format of lines & arcs, & may not hold solid shape data
( ie the lines may form a cubic shape.....but the cube solid is actually missing )

polygons is probably a collective term for any solid shape

If your AutoCAD drawing contains solids.... try exporting as a STP (step) file... or another format that supports 3D shapes

MeshCAM is very specific about .dxf files, requiring 3D faces only. You need to model in a very specific way to end up with 3D faces.

A better option is to use stl files.
Set the FACETRES variable to 10, and use the STLOUT command.
